Online application procedure and documents for Konkan Board flats through MHADA Lottery 2021

The Maharashtra Housing & Area Development Authority (MHADA) is holding a lottery draw for those keen to purchase a low-cost home under the jurisdiction of the Konkan Housing Board. Applications have to be submitted online only as per the procedure and schedule mentioned below. Know whether you are eligible to apply. Details of the locations of the flats, size, and prices will be update in separate posts.

How to apply

Before you apply for a MHADA home, it is advisable to first check out the brochure that can be downloaded from the official website. The brochure gives information of the homes, including location and layout plans, eligibility requirements, instructions on the application procedure and payment, etc.

The online application procedure has three simple steps. Firstly, you have to register at the official website https://lottery.mhada.gov.in/OnlineApplication/Konkan/ by creating a username with a password and filling in the basic information, such as name, contact numbers, address, etc. and other details (refer to the details below)

Next, once the 'Apply' button is enabled, you can select the Scheme Code Number. After filling up the application, download and take a print out of the Acknowledgement. 

Finally, make the online payment of EMD through NEFT/RTGS or Net Banking, or with a Debit Card or a Credit Card that is issued in India.

List of documents

These are the documents that you require to be scanned and kept ready to upload for the online application process-

1. A passport size photo of the applicant in JPEG format with a light colour background (size 5 KB to 50 KB).

2. A copy of a cancelled cheque of the applicant's bank account (size 5 KB to 300 KB) or a copy of the first page of the applicant's bank passbook (size 5 KB to 300 KB).  

4. A copy of the applicant's PAN Card (size 5 KB to 300 KB).

Also required-

1. PAN Card number (10 digits) of the applicant. 

2. Date of Birth of the applicant.

3. AADHAR Card Number (12 digits) of the applicant.

4. Complete residential address of the applicant, including the postal pin code number.

5. Personal contact number, residential contact number, office contact number, email id, etc. of the applicant.   

6. The applicant’s bank account number and respective MICR and IFSC code.

Important dates

• Registration starts at 12 noon on 24th August 2021.
• Last date for Registration ends at 11:59 pm on 22nd September 2021
• Online Application starts at 3 pm on 24th August 2021.
• Online Application ends at 11.59 pm on 23th September 2021.
• Online Payment ends at 11.59 pm on 24th September 2021.
• Publication of draft list of accepted applications at 6 pm on 01 October 2021 .
• Publication of final list of accepted applications at 6 pm on 5th October 2021 .
• Draw Lottery at Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar Natyagriha, Manpada, near Hiranandani Meadows, Thane (West) on 14th October 2021 at 10 am
