Next year, MHADA will be having a lottery for 4,356 houses. However, this lottery will not be available for the High Income Group (HIG) buyers who are earning more than Rs.40,000 per month. The homes will only be available for the Middle Income Group (MIG), Lower Income Group (LIG) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). Price of the flats of Mumbai Board for the 2013 lottery is here . The breakup of the number of houses & areas is as follows:
Economically Weaker Sections (earning less than Rs.8,000/- monthly):
Lower Income Group (earning between Rs.8,000/- and Rs.20,000/- monthly):
Middle Income Group (earning between Rs.20,000/- and Rs.40,000/- monthly):
The draw for the above houses will be made in May 2013 and the homes would be handed over to the lottery winners in 2014.
