Dining at Dala Rooster homestay Panchgani

The food served at Dala Rooster is wholesome and tasty. You can have  traditional Maharashtrian cuisine or western-type food. Breakfast items are fixed – upma, poha, sabudana khichdi etc. You can also have bread/oats & butter and ask for egg omlettes to be served. At tea time there are no snacks, just Glucon-D biscuits.

The Dala Rooster homestay in Panchgani is located about 8-9kms. from Wai. (here is the review). Our private taxi driver knew the place as the taxi operator for whom he works was recommended to us by the owner, Captain Gokhale. Even if the name of the homestay is not known, you can ask for directions to the Gokhale bungalow.

The owners of Dala Rooster homestay in Panchgani are Captain Gokhale and his wife Leena Gokhale. There are 3 staff on the premises: Mr. Bhajan Yadav and Mrs. Suvarna Yadav, a couple who are caretakers-cum-cooks, and Vijay, who cleans and swabs the premises in addition to helping out in the kitchen.

2012 Know your Army Day events schedule Shivaji Park Mumbai

The Know your Army day is held to celebrate the victory of India over Pakistan in the 1971 war & salute the bravehearts who sacrificed their lives for this victory. For this, the Indian Army is organising the Vijay Diwas (victory day) celebrations at Shivaji Park in the heart of Mumbai, capital city of Maharashtra. The main aim of this festival is to encourage youngsters to join the Army.

2012 MHADA lottery winners ineligible candidates appeal process

Those who applied for and won flats at Mira Road through the 2012 MHADA lottery but who were declared ineligible can appeal the rejection.
