Every year, the Republic Day Parade in Mumbai is held at the
Shivaji Park grounds. This year, for the first time the parade will be along
the Marine Drive stretch.

- There will be a spectacular presentation of floats by various departments and government-run corporations.
- Thousands of artists in colourful traditional costumes will showcase cultural performances.
- There will be a strong display of armaments
- The Indian Army and Police personnel will show their manoevering skills on motorcycles.
- Maharashtra’s martial arts will also be on display.
- Vintage cars will also form a part of the parade.
- Not to be missed is the participation of specially privileged children in the Sailors' horn pipe dance.
- Please do not buy or bring along plastic flags
- Please do not litter the area
- Be early
- Parking of vehicles along the stretch of the parade will not be permitted. For the general public, parking will be allowed between 4a.m. to 2p.m. at these parking slots: (1) M.G.Road (Bombay Hospital Lane) to OCS (2) Karmveer Bhaurao Patil Marg (3) K.Dubhash Marg.
