    1. The exact application link is here:
      https://lottery.mhada.gov.in/OnlineApplication/mhadaApplication.do

You can select Marathi or English option and click on apply button next to MUMLOTMAY2012 OR KONKLOTMAY2012 as per which house you are applying for.

IMPORTANT: Once you have submitted, you should go back to the main page and click on 'View application' (English)/'Mazha Arj' (Marathi). You can thus confirm the details you have given are correct. Remember that you can make changes to your application form at any time. Even after taking a printout, if you find any errors and wish to make any changes, you can submit a NEW online application form. However, once you submit the receipt to the Axis Bank branch, you CANNOT then submit another new application online.

  15. i am belonging to OBC category . but my income is above 2 lakh . do i need to submit non-creamy layer certificate also

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. It is best to keep all relevant documents ready. MHADA states in S.14. 'Declaration' that the requisite prescribed documents include "Certificate of Caste or other reserved categories and such other documents". So "such other documents" could include the non-creamy layer certificate too. When the time comes to submit the documents, you can find out which exactly you need to submit.

I would suggest to all applicants to keep ready multiple xerox copies of all necessary documents so that you can submit them quickly when required. Don't wait for the last minute. You know how it is...on the day you need to urgently xerox something it will be a weekly holiday or the local guy's machine won't be working...horrors! Don't forget to keep a xerox copy of your application acknowledgment receipt before submitting to Axis Bank and a xerox copy of the acknowledgement slip duly signed and stamped by Axis Bank.

Now i have submitted MHADA form on my new name (After marriage), i have attached marriage certificate as well as one affidavit which i made for change in name, Is it sufficient?

    ReplyDelete

    1. Any ONE proof is required for address proof. However, I suggest that you immediately apply for & get a new PAN card with your new name. The PAN card is generally considered the most important proof for anything at all, whether you are investing in a mutual fund, opening a new bank account, whatever. You can also confirm from the helpline nos. I have given if the proofs you are submitting are sufficient.

In the top right hand side you will see the option for 'English'. Click on that. Then you will see the following sections: Apply for lottery, View application, accepted application, lottery result, information booklet.
So to apply you just have to click on 'Apply for Lottery' which is this link:
      https://lottery.mhada.gov.in/OnlineApplication/mhadaApplication.do
Here, you will see the lottery for Mumbai Board and Konkan Board [this will be for Mira Road homes] and the 'apply' button-link on the extreme right side. Click on whichever you wish to apply for.

  29. Hi Vandana,

Can i apply for mhada flats on behalf of some one else? For example buy for my sister. i would like to gift her mhada house in mira road. :)

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Just see this part of the application form:
      # 12.4: Whether the applicant has intention to settle at the place where he intends to purchase the tenement?

So I don't know if you say "no" whether your application will be rejected! Maybe your sister could herself apply & you tell her you will pay her to buy the home. Naturally, in that case it is your sister who should fulfil all the requisite criteria.

    1. In the application form at the MHADA website, see #6. EMD Details: here you have to fill in EMD amount in one box, then application fee amount in the second box and the total of the two in the third box.
You need to check at the MHADA website for the precise EMD. Although I have given the details, since the info. was taken from newspaper advt. of MHADA, it is best to double check at the website. You could also call up at the helpline nos. to confirm.
